We’re throwing a Party in the Pocket Park on Saturday, Sept. 13 from noon to 4 pm to celebrate what makes our great neck of the woods so special! And we need your help. We already have a core group of volunteers for the party, and we need a few more neighbors to lend a hand so everyone feels welcome and can fully participate. We are also looking for folks to lend us a few 10ft by 10ft or larger tents for the day.
We’ve made it easy to sign up to be a party volunteer and to offer to lend us a tent on our nifty new sign up form. On the form you’ll find a list of the various activities we need help with from set-up and breakdown to assisting at one of our activity stations. Most volunteer shifts are 2 to 3 hours long. And more details about each activity can be found on the form. And, if you know someone else you think would be interested in volunteering, please share this message with them.
