Join Us at a Citywide Community Forum – Saturday, 1/24 @ City Hall from 3-5pm

You’re invited!

Please join us on Saturday, January 24th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Olympia City Hall (1604 4th Avenue East) for a community forum focused on neighborhood-driven ideas and how we can work together to make them happen. This gathering is hosted by the Council of Neighborhood Associations (CNA), which brings neighborhood groups from across Olympia together to connect residents, elevate community priorities, and strengthen collaboration with city leaders. The purpose of this forum is to hear directly from the broader Olympia community about needs, priorities, project ideas, and the kinds of support residents want to see, not only related to Neighborhood Matching Grants, but also across other funding opportunities and programs. This includes ideas like neighborhood gathering spaces, mobility improvements, murals, community fridges, food access projects, community gardens, emergency preparedness efforts, and other community-led initiatives. These are just examples – the possibilities are wide open, and we want to hear what ideas and priorities matter most to you. The goal is not just to “be heard,” but to begin building something together. We want to listen, learn, and then work collectively to pursue partnerships and funding that can help move strong ideas toward action.

At the forum, you can:

  • Learn a bit about the Council of Neighborhood Associations
  • Find your neighborhood and meet nearby neighbors
  • Explore what kinds of community projects are possible
  • Share your ideas and connect with others who care
  • Help shape what we focus on next

Free pizza and water will be provided.

If you are unable to attend in person, you can still share your input using this community priorities survey link.
